Sweet Explosion lives up to her name in every sense.  As a natural born woman, Sweet is one of the most trans-friendly ladies anywhere.  She is a lifelong supporter of the transgender community who devotes endless time and energy to reaching out, making people feel good about themselves, yet asking nothing in return. Sweet has developed bonds of friendship with countless transwomen in her local area and world-wide through her extensive online presence.  Although she has endured more than her fair share of hardship in life, she does not commiserate.  Instead she is eternally optimistic, empowering herself and others to keep faith for a better world. Sweet not only talks about positive change, she also takes the initiative to do the work.  We are deeply grateful to have Sweet with us at GenderEvolve, as she inspires us with her shining example of what it means to be a truly beautiful feminine person.  We all have much love and respect for you, Sweet!

Sweet's Gem of Wisdom: "A mother’s love is unconditional. Who ever or what ever my children decide to be, decide to wear, decide to marry, I am there for them. I know that the world I have shown my children, will be the world they one day show their children."

Sweet's Contributions

Transgender Unity Petition to the United Nations  ~ We urge the United Nations to take a leading role in including the transgender population through use of the phrase "all people", rather than excluding them by using the term "all women and men". This simple step would go a long way in setting precedents for the equal recognition and protection of all human beings of the world. We are all equal people, no matter what gender.

Ditch the Disclaimer ~ I spent the majority of last week surfing TG home pages in my quest to promote the petition. I ran across something on several home pages that really bothered me. I can’t for the life of me figure out why girls would put up disclaimers on their websites?

My Son Wears My Clothes ~ “Mom can I go through your make-up drawers and take some stuff you’re not using anymore?” ... “Mom can I borrow some of your clothes?” ... “Mom does my hair look all right?” ... “Mom do you have any shoes that would fit me?” ... “Mom do these clothes look good together?”. These are some of the questions I have been asked over the years from not my daughter, but my teenage son.

Email to the United Nations ~ After reading through the Declaration of Human Rights, I believe it is of utmost importance to request an International Transgender day. There are far too many hate crimes against individuals in the TG Community. These include physical attacks, verbal abuse and even murder. The road to recognizing and understanding Transgender people must begin somewhere. The sooner this happens, the better.
